Instructions on How to Access Videos from Curio.ca From Outside a School Building
Modified on: Fri, 5 Feb, 2021 at 12:43 PM
If you are viewing the videos from a Saskatchewan school internet connection, the videos should play without difficulty. Make sure your device is connected to the school's network through wifi or a wired internet connection.
If you are viewing the videos from outside a Saskatchewan school network, such as a home or mobile internet connection, you will need to log in with your Saskatchewan Ministry of Education EDonline account. These accounts are created automatically for all students registered in a Saskatchewan school.
To access these videos, please read the following instructions:
Click on the link to the video. You will be redirected to the EDonline log in page.
Enter your EDonline username and password. Your username is your first name - period - last name (firstname.lastname). Your password will be the two digits of your birth month and the two digits of your birth date. Be sure to use your legal first name as this is likely what is registered with the Ministry of Education. All passwords should be four digits, so don't forget the zero if your birth month or date is only a single digit.
- For example, if your name is Bruce Wayne and your birthday is on April 27th, the information would be as follows:
- USERNAME: bruce.wayne
- PASSWORD: 0427
- If your name is Lisa Simpson and your birthday is on October 3rd, your login info would be:
- USERNAME: lisa.simpson
- PASSWORD: 1003
You should be automatically redirected to the correct Curio.ca video page. DO NOT LOG OUT OF THE EDONLINE.SK.CA SITE.
Click the "Watch" button to open the video.
